Recognizing the profound impact of therapy animals in care facilities, Semper Fi Flo partnered with Bunny Besties, a fellow 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to bring the most irresistibly adorable bunnies to the Minneapolis Veterans Home.

Since January 2023, monthly Bunny Besties visits have become a cherished tradition, offering invaluable benefits such as emotional support, stress relief, and enhanced social engagement. These visits foster companionship, connection, and relaxation while promoting overall emotional wellness among veterans.

While our care packages are filled with much-loved goods and treats, we believe personal notes are just as important. These handwritten messages provide warmth, encouragement, and a heartfelt connection to our service members.

With nearly 1,000 care packages shipped each year, we need over 1000 cards to ensure every package carries a personal touch. Thankfully, Tracy Langheinrich brings her creativity and dedication to this mission, coordinating monthly card-making events that include heartfelt notes on stunning, hand-made cards.

In April, she led a team of 10 women, including Molly, in crafting an incredible 760 cards, each one destined to bring joy and support to deployed military personnel. Their efforts are a testament to the power of community, generosity, and the impact of a handwritten message.
