Recognizing the profound impact of therapy animals in care facilities, Semper Fi Flo partnered with Bunny Besties, a fellow 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to bring the most irresistibly adorable bunnies to the Minneapolis Veterans Home.

Since January 2023, monthly Bunny Besties visits have become a cherished tradition, offering invaluable benefits such as emotional support, stress relief, and enhanced social engagement. These visits foster companionship, connection, and relaxation while promoting overall emotional wellness among veterans.

While our care packages are filled with much-loved goods and treats, we believe personal notes are just as important. These handwritten messages provide warmth, encouragement, and a heartfelt connection to our service members.

 With nearly 1,000 care packages shipped each year, we rely on just as many cards to ensure every box carries a personal touch. Thankfully, Tracy Langheinrich brings her creativity and dedication to this mission, organizing monthly card-making events where volunteers craft heartfelt, hand-made cards. Each one is destined to bring comfort and encouragement to deployed military personnel. Their work beautifully reflects the power of community, generosity, and the simple impact of a handwritten note.
